Our commitment

Everyone is welcome at Paisan’s — at the counter, at your event, and on this website. We want every visitor, including people using assistive technology, to be able to read our menus, get directions, and request catering without barriers.

Conformance status

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We consider the Site partially conformant: most content fully conforms, and we are actively working through the rest as the site grows.

What’s built in

Semantic headings and landmarks on every page; a skip-to-content link; labeled forms with visible focus outlines; keyboard-reachable navigation, including the menus dropdown; alternative text on real photographs; color contrast chosen for readability; and pages that work at 200% zoom and on small screens.

The accessibility toolbar

The circular button at the bottom-left of every page opens a toolbar with larger text, high contrast, inverted colors, a dyslexia-friendlier font, reduced motion, highlighted links, a reading guide, and more. Settings persist as you browse. If the button is ever in your way, the toolbar’s “hide” option tucks it away and a link in the footer brings it back. Accessibility on this site is managed with ADAWebPro.

Visiting the deli

The restaurant at 6550 Longley Ln, Suite 110, Reno, NV 89511 has accessible parking and entrance, wheelchair-accessible seating throughout the dining room, and staff who are glad to read the menu board, carry trays, or help however needed — just ask, or call ahead and we’ll have it handled.

Known limitations

Some older photographs and third-party embeds (such as the online-ordering platform) may not meet every guideline; we choose providers with accessibility in mind and pass feedback to them.
