Barn and ranch weddings are the region's signature, from Carson Valley spreads under Jobs Peak to Gold Country fruit-shed venues, and they almost all share one rule: you bring your own caterer. Good. Bring one with gravel-road experience.
This is carved-tri-tip country. The live-fire station earns its keep against timber and open sky, the barrel-bar setups look born for the setting, and buffets in a barn feed generously without pretense.
Ranch logistics are assumed, not discovered: generator-friendly equipment, level ground for the serving line, and a crew that knows where to park a rig so the photos stay clean.
