Snow is a backdrop, not a problem.

Winter dates are the calendar's best-kept secret: venues have room, vendors have attention to spare, and the mountains do their most dramatic work. The catering just has to respect the season, and this kitchen has thirty winters of practice.
Mountain winter events get built with weather margin: earlier departures, chains riding in the truck, menus chosen to hold heat beautifully, and Mike watching the pass report like a hawk. Lasagna, pot roast, and carved tri-tip are winter's natural allies.
There is also the fully weather-proof play: the private banquet room at the deli, murals and brick and the kitchen on the other side of the wall, from $250 in three-hour blocks.
Winter planning
- December books earliest of the off-season months
- Hold-heat menus and chafer service are standard, not upgrades
- The banquet room is the zero-weather-risk backup

Your date is the only thing we can't restock.
Tell Mike the day, the place, and the headcount. Real per-plate prices come back, usually the same business day.
